This place is beautiful and in a great location in a real local area. the rooms are nice and fantastic, with their own private external bathroom just for guests staying here. And all this only costs US$52. 🌟.

It was a good old and absolutely great hotel in a pretty quiet area. Its staff was excellent and very pleasant. Good choice of food for breakfast, which was great to satisfy everyone. Comfortable location - easy walk to everywhere we needed.

The Maestrale room at Arena Alfieri B&B had a cozy double bed that made me feel right at home. The room also had a large wardrobe, perfect for all my clothes and belongings, and a television for some entertainment during downtime. I loved the fact that the room offered views of the garden, it gave such a refreshing and peaceful vibe to the whole stay. Having a private external bathroom was a great feature, and it was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a hairdryer. The air conditioning and heating in the room helped me stay comfortable no matter the weather outside. Finding a kettle in the room was a pleasant surprise, as I could enjoy a hot cup of tea whenever I wanted.

Although the other rooms were only available for cohabiting family members, I missed the chance to interact with other guests and make new friends.

Mind-blowing sleep on a super comfortable firm bed, thanks to the best air conditioning ever. The friendly staff helped with taxis and language barriers. Wi-Fi, off-site car park, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and luggage storage were super convenient. No pets allowed and no smoking on-site.

The beautiful Italian villa-style house was a treat to stay in. The decor had a charming old-world feel, which made it feel like a true Italian experience. The general areas of the B&B were clean and well-maintained. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. It was conveniently located halfway between the train station and the center of Livorno, making it easy for me to explore the city. The 20-minute walk to the center was manageable, and the owner kindly provided me with a map and directions.

My only suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more accessible transportation options nearby. As I couldn't walk fast or far, it was a bit challenging to walk a couple of blocks to the bus stop.
